The author of the book, Bro Hazoor Singh, was born & brought up in SIKH religion and got saved in May 2003.
Migrating to Canada in 2000, he started his own business but lost almost everything. Desperate to come out of debt and troubles, he started calling on the name of God in his own religious way. However, God answered his prayers through Lord Jesus in 2003. He is serving the Lord since then and sharing his testimony whenever and wherever he gets an opportunity.
The book is based on his revelations and “first hand” experiences. “Lots of people asked us why we changed our religion, why didn’t we wait to receive an answer through our own religion. I asked God for His True Knowledge and through Lord’s Holy Spirit I received my answer. Then I wrote this book so that every one should know the Truth”.
The book tries to answer the most trivial question “what is true religion” based on scriptures from the Holy Bible and Guru Granth Sahib (SIKH holy book). Is the true religion in religious “rituals”? There are lots of so-called “religions” in this world. Are these temporary of permanent? Can we stand before the throne of God through these? How can we be accepted in the court of Lord?
Based on scriptures, the book explains that there are there types of religions:
1) Temporary Religion (Dharam) - We can call this as religious “rituals”. These are man-made “traditions” that do not lead us to God but separate us from God. These religions are not described in scriptures. Instead scripture tells us not to search God through “religion” but through Word of God (Shabad).
2) True religion (Dharam).
3) Religion (Dharam) – We can call this as righteousness (known as RASTBAZZI in Urdu) i.e. doing good to others, doing what is right and always try to serve True God and His people.
It is very important for seeker to know the difference between these three religions. If we do not know this difference, Satan can fool us & use us for his evil designs and we will never come out of the darkness and see the True Light.
The truth is that without wisdom of God, one can not recognize the difference between these religions. As such, we pray that you do not lean on your own understanding but ask God for His wisdom.
