Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings you in the name of Our Savior Lord Jesus Christ!
It’s a great pleasure for me to share my testimony before you in order to glorify God. I was born and brought up in a good Christian orthodox family. I have two elder sisters and a brother .I am the youngest in my family. As I am the youngest, everyone pampered me. In my schooling, I was very innocent, calm and humble. But our God is faithful and chose me to fulfill his desire through my life.
At the age of 17 I went to the hostel for three years to have my training those were the days, when I fell into sin because of my friends circle and bad company. Day after day, I tasted worldly pleasure and drew myself the devilish deeds. Later, I started to enjoy everything that was wrong. And I started to drink badly and did things, which were displeasing in God’s sight. In 1997, I got married to a good God fearing Christian girl named Sherly Rita and God blessed us with a son. But, till that time I couldn’t realize that Jesus had some plans for me and I have to live for him.
In 1998 my moth
er got very serious as she had cancer .Me tried very hard to save her and took her to various hospitals, But I lost my mother on 22nd Feb 1999 .I was got so depressed and got shattered totally. In those days of grief and sadness when my mother was sick, it so happened that I got an opportunity to attend pastor Ernest mall’s meeting at shriford Auditorium. A particular song, ‘Rooh kee Aag Kay Sholay’ touched my heart for the first time. And my life took a turning point and I started coming closer to God.
Slowly, I recognized Jesus and admitted that I am a sinner .I repent for all my inequities and transgressions. I wanted to get rid of all these sin. In March 1999, I took water Baptism and became a new creation. God anointed me in the year 2001.Later on; God gave me a great burden for perishing souls. After baptism I started walking with God and shared a close relation with him. God started to speak to me every day and I came to know God’s will in my life. According to Romans 15:20, and so I have made it my vision to preach the Gospel ,not where the Christ was named, but I should build another foundation.
So, in Nangloi,(Outer Part of New Delhi) I started simple meetings and preached gospel in 2004. Many people came and heard the good news and many got healed. In this way, God moved through our ministry in that area. God touched many by healing and People started coming to Lord gradually. Since that day we are serving our savior Lord Jesus Christ. We, in our heart, mind and soul have a deep conviction of God’s call to do His work and fulfill the will of the Lord. We started praying for the Lord to accomplish His work through us. This became very challenging for our ministry .
I didn’t have place to worship in Nangloi, New Delhi but God miraculously opened our ways and me got a place in Nangloi, New Delhi.Now by God’s grace we have 100 members in our church. Our aim is to make everyone, the disciples of God. According to col 1:28, Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Me have faced very trials and oppositions in our ministry, still we are looking unto Jesus, having one thing in my mind, ” He who began a good work in me he is faithful to complete it, till the day of Jesus Christ “According to phi 1:5 God built this ministry in the time of trials, when my own sisters, Sis Rita Samuel, stood with me and encouraged me in every manner. My wife Sherly Rita David has prayed, encouraged and cooperated to extend God’s Kingdom through his ministry now, people are ready to make convenent with God.
